How do I get my horse to stop biting and pinning her ears back at me?

I have only had this horse for about a year and a half. When you go up to her she most of the time pins her ears back. She seems really crabby most of the time. She has bitten me three times now, quite seriously, severe bruising and cuts. When I got her she was very thin and very bit up. She apparently had to fight for her food in a large herd. She is now very pampered by me and she is in a herd of 3 and very well fed and cared for. Each time she has bitten me it has been around food. One time was when I was putting her grain in her feed bucket. Another time was when I went into the corral area and I think she was defending her food. The other time it was when I went into her stall. Can this be stopped. I'm afraid she is going to hurt me or someone else very seriously. My husband has been out on comp for almost a year. He has a good job. His doctors say he is better but he?

It's hard to live with him since he seems clinically depressed more than anything else. I've encouraged him to seek help and he has been taking medication for depression. He is marginally improved. My fiance is bipolar and my mother won't accept him!?

My fiance and I have been together for four years and my mother has given both of us her disapproval since day one when she found out he had bipolar disorder. We have lived together for three years and he has only had one major mood swing that has required a med change due to off levels. He works full time, is starting school for forensics or veterinary medicine in the fall and volunteers at an animal hospital on the weekends. Most think he is a stand up guy and I'm lucky to have such a man. My mom disapproves because my father and her split up right around the time we met (my father was an alcoholic for 30 years before hand and they're marriage was abusive in the first place). He is always polite to my parents and when we had to stay here for a week (while our place was being worked on) he made dinner, washed dishes, mowed the lawn, took my mom out shopping, etc... Keep in mind he is 23 and I think he's doing great for his age! She believes he is destroying her life by dating me because she can't stand to see me with someone who is a "psychologically ill man." Also keep in mind that she suffers with depression and my father was an alcoholic. You wouldn't even know he's bipolar! He doesn't drink, smoke, do drugs, etc... Would soffit vents cause a house to be more drafty in the living space?

I have an older block home with siding. The only insulation in the home is in the attic floor joists. The home has two gable vents. It is also built with that breathing space with firring strips between the block and drywall. This space runs from the attic to basement. I vented the soffits by nothching out the wood and adding vented soffit siding, cause the house had no vent holes in the soffit at all. My concern now is that in an attempt to make the attic cooler, I actually made the house colder and harder to heat in the winter. Any opinions welcome.

My cat is laying on his back with his legs in the air and crying.?

We have a Norwegian Forest cat. Tonight he's been getting up every few minutes and lies back down and then lays down on his side and cries again. He seems uncomfortable. The other cats come near him and he growls at them. He's only 5 years old. I think I noticed he didn't eat today when my husband put out wet food. We feed them dry food and give them some wet at night. He usually eats sporadically throughout the day. He's not fat. There's also some tufts of hair on the carpet, but he's fluffy. I have gotten in the UAV a couple of time (Mainly stole it from another guy who was a complete hog with it Heh heh) And I could not figure it out. Every time I tried to shoot a rocket, a red thing would point out where it would go but the missile never fired. I would need to hold it down for like a minute for it to shoot and then I saw people firing it like every 3 freakin seconds!? So I got pissed and gave that Chopper hog his way and gave it back. Question about how BAH works when you separate.?

My husband and me aren't getting along so we're separating and I'm moving back home. We were gonna try to stay married for awhile because we weren't sure that we wanted to jump into a divorce. I figured he'd move back into the barricks and I'd get the BAH back home. But I think he misunderstood them but apparently he won't be able to stay in the barricks if we're still married and the BAH will change to what cost of living would be in Oklahoma which isn't much and he'd be expected to live off of it. If that happens then we'll pretty much have to divorce because he can't afford to live off that. So is this true or will I get the BAH and he'll be able to live in the barricks? I'm so confused. Injured on the job not my employers fault but the customers fault..?

I can't go into great detail about what my job is suffice it to say I drive vehicles that my employer tests for other companies. I was doing my job, and a vehicle I was detailed to had a catastrophic failure...I was injured during the following accident I am getting Workman's comp, but I want to sue the manufacturer of the vehicle I was testing they knew of the issues and hid them from us. Now because I am getting work comp I have been told that I have no case to sue by a work comp lawyer, but I am not sure he was all that competent...any ideas? I am in AZ....I can't go into details about my employer or the vehicle so please don't ask....It is doented that I am not at fault and that the manufacturer is at fault..so do I have a case against them I likely will never be able to return to full duty....

really any Green Day song. They are all in the range of G, C, F, and D. Some Em thrown in there... And I've found Arcade Fire songs to be simple enough to play acoustically, but I'm a big Arcade Fire fan, some people aren't, whatever floats your boat. Ray Lamontagne plays some very simple songs with simple chords, such as Trouble, great tune. And if you want to work on your fingerpicking Sam Beam (aka Iron and Wine) plays a lot of finger picking songs where if you just work at them for a bit they get really simple. I went on chatroulette tonight, and I got matched up with this girl and two guys from texas, the two guys were having with the girl (who was extremely beautiful). Tropical fish tank advice ?

Because of some ill advice I recieved from a clueless pet store employee, I now own a 5 gallon fishtank with 2 corydoras. It's a long story. The tanks cycle has still not regulated itself and it's been two weeks. still, i'm getting ammonia readings of .25-.50 . I always do an immediate water change, but it seems to get right up there within a day or so. the substrate is clean, as are the ornaments. The water is the correct temp, and is visually clean. I have a Marina 210s dual media filter. How should I deal with the ammonia until the cycle regulates itself? what % water change should I do etc, to keep my fish healthy and alive? I'm still a novice at this, but I have done my research, and am familiar with the basics of fish/aquarium care. Help!

Does anyone have a good homemade french fry recipe to share?? =)?

It depends on the cut of French fries I'm making. I usually use russets. If I'm making the thin, skinny ones, I usually cut them, rinse them in cold water and dry them off. I then put them in a mixing bowl and add a enough olive oil just to coat them with season salt, pepper, a little paprika, and garlic and onion salt. (the paprika will help them get brown and crispy) I then bake them at 375 or so until done. If I'm making steak fries or wedges, I wash them and dry them. I then bake them until the are starting to soften.. Not even halfway done. I then take them out and cool them completely!! It's very important to cool them or they will fall apart. After they are cool, I cut them. Then at this point I either fry them at 350 or I bake them seasoned like before. By partially pre-baking them I don't think they get as hard and they are still kind of creamy on the inside! Best of luck!!

Need info on teaching my dog not to pee in her kennel?

I recently moved her kennel from the living room into the laundry room, and since then she's been peeing in it. I'm not sure when she does it, but lately she's been peeing and I take her out and her whole underbelly is sticky and she stinks of pee. Also, the kennel is sticky but there is no standing pee in it. She hates her kennel, and it has never been a "safe place" for her. I have to kennel her when I leave or she is destructive. She doesn not eat treats if I give them to her, she saves them until I come home from work then she'll eat it. But since she's been peeing, I haven't given her any treats. I read that if you keep an empty food bowl in there they wont do it because they dont want to mess where they eat. And come to think of it, she started peeing when I stopped giving treats since she doesn't eat them anyway.

This situation I had today has a long story behind it and it involves this girl I met freshman year (last year) in college. pretty sweet team dude. but there are some problems. if that is your starting line up then i think you might run into problems. i usually start with my ninjask to baton p. i get like 2-3 speed boosts and 1 swords dance to baton p to my gallade. he prolly is faster then yours at this point and can prolly ohko your gallade. and after that it could knock out the rest of your team. i suggest that you make your gallade with some sort of speed upping nature. like jolly or something so he can at least outspeed some other guys cuz hes got bad speed. but other then that i think you have a really nice team. but you should try to mix up your moves a little. its good to mix the moves because 1 you only need 1 type of attack for each one. like your swampert. if it has higher attack keep waterfall and take out surf. you could add a more effective move. and 2 it makes your guys more versatile. :) hope this helped. good luck battling!

How do I reboot my laptop when recovery disk does not work?

HD crashed. Blue screen. ARD did not work. Backup disk did not work. Called HP tech. They tried over the phone, but could not fix, so they suckered me into buying a new "official" HP ARD disk and Recovery Applications and Drivers disks (which I already had and used to no avail, but HP tech swore my old disks were defective.) Still does not work - still blue screen. Goes as far as uploading the files, then comes to "Windows Starting", and it freezes on the blue again. I've tried all the "obvious" solutions, i.e., opening in different versions of safe mode, reloading backed up drivers, used recovery disk, and the best I've gotten is a few different pop up remarks, but no error numbers to google. These are some of the pop ups or . Anybody have any suggestions?

Don't feel alone! A lot of people that go to college either don't get the jobs they want, or aren't making the money they need. It's beginning to get to the point that college is really a waste unless you do a ton of homework on the field of study, job ops, and pay post college. Of course some fields always have available jobs, and good pay. Most don't though. I'd give it a little more time, if still no luck then I'd go home to the family. You won't be the first one that was in your situation, and you deffinately won't be the last.

Army Physical fitness CAN be conducted 7 days a week if you are in a deployed area. In garrison you would be hard pressed to have a Commander sign off on bringing in Joes from home. A good mixture of PT that can motivate a soldier and build team work will enable you to keep up the 5 days a week work out. If its a Platoon size element you are with, then you can add variety to include combatives and sports day. Overall, in the Airborne, you conduct PT five days a week while deployed 7 days a week including gym time. If you have to cite the reg against your soldiers to do PT, then you are not doing your part to motivate your soldiers. The old say the more you sweat the less you bleed applies to actual combat training. And perfectly legal to make your soldiers come in 7 days a week, lol....you'd be begging for a IG complaint for not allowing soldiers time with their families. Take care of your soldiers and you will accomplish any mission. Remember, Mission First, Soldiers ALWAYS!

Kidney problem or is it?

oky so my friend took ill on the 18/19th of july.. headache, vomiting, cramps and feeling really tired and unwell. this lasted until the 22nd then returned on the night of the 23rd she went to her GP yesterday and they done a urine sample which showed her kidney were inflamed and the GP said its probly a kidney infection so give her an antibiodic and done bloods (waitin for results) but this mornin the pain switched from left side to right side and she has bleedin below lik a period but only thicker and darker but not as much as she would normally have her period is not due for 2weeks so it isnt it. . . sould we go back to the GP or just wait for blood result. am worried that the pain is switching sides an the bleeding bout dont want to make a deal out of nothing if you get me

I've had diagnosed anxiousness(not 'anxiousness' obviously but so-called disorders like anxiety, anxiety-related disorders) my entire life. But I don't know if it explains all of my personality problems. And I know you can't just try to use personality disorders to explain all your faults or weaknesses, but I want to know something I've always wondered; could I have neurosis? As a child I would transfer schools and always be told I *would* make friends, etc but I didn't. In elementary school I just stood around at recess staring into space, sometimes for entire years at new schools. I also had extreme irritibility as a kid(seriously, pretty bad) and began having suicidal tendencies around ten. By now I've worked a lot at improving myself and dealing with things and have become a lot more open. But I do now have physical ailments like chronic headaches and stomaches and a lot of fatigue, as well as insomnia, hunger with no appetite(as in not wanting to eat but feeling very very hungry after not eating for prolonged periods of time), and tiredness in general that doesn't really go away. I usually have nausea or vomiting in the morning, also. I get very anxious in public places still and have many problems socializing and communicating with strangers. I have intent and desire to, but only after leaving the scene. Out in public, I usually get irate and nervous at loud noises and sweat a lot. It takes a lot out of me to get out there and look like I'm not having a problem. I'm only fifteen and keep going to the doctor but they can't find anything wrong. Many of them tell me to see a psychiatrist to be diagnosed/treated for possible depression and I do get that a lot. But most of it is just acting 'weird' around others and I don't want to be like that anymore. Auditory hallucinations are also becoming a waxing problem but are not yet affecting day to day life. I don't WANT a diagnosis... But is it possible I have neurosis?

How does one keep upper body exercises from putting excessive strain on the neck or tzius muscles?

I am a personal trainer and have a client who has a hard time stabilizing weight for upper body exercises and sometimes abdominal exercises without it putting strain into her neck (specifically tzius area) Could this simply be due to an underdeveloped tzius muscle so it is having a hard time providing stabilizer strength?
