Does this capricorn guy like me?

Ok Im a capricorn and so is the guy I like,we hung out with some friends the other night,this other guy was hitting on me but I like cappy boy,this other girl was hitting on cappy guy but he was not into her.Well I known him a few years and liked him a long time,past few months we been talking a lot online and on the phone.Well we ended up back at his house,we had some drinks but not too many.We slept together,he kissed me very pionate for an hour before ,I confessed I like him a lot and have acrush on him,he seemed pleasantly surprised.When we had and kissed it was for 2 hours!!!!It wasnt wham bam and over.Anyway he told me he doesnt want a relationship,hes afraid to get hurt his last ex cheated on him!!!I told him I dont want to get hurt either.I do want to date him.Being cappy mself we like to take it slow,should I ask him to just date me,Im soooo crazy about him,he must like me to kiss me the way he did,he knows Im not a ho,I knew him 3 years before we slept together,he doesnt hang out with other girls either.Should I ask him to date or wait for him to approach me?
