Kidney problem or is it?

oky so my friend took ill on the 18/19th of july.. headache, vomiting, cramps and feeling really tired and unwell. this lasted until the 22nd then returned on the night of the 23rd she went to her GP yesterday and they done a urine sample which showed her kidney were inflamed and the GP said its probly a kidney infection so give her an antibiodic and done bloods (waitin for results) but this mornin the pain switched from left side to right side and she has bleedin below lik a period but only thicker and darker but not as much as she would normally have her period is not due for 2weeks so it isnt it. . . sould we go back to the GP or just wait for blood result. am worried that the pain is switching sides an the bleeding bout dont want to make a deal out of nothing if you get me
