What happens if gasoline gets inside a kiln?

like if it got inside a clay piece and then it was put in the fire inside a metal firing kiln thing, what would happen? we were joking about it in art cl today and some people said it would explode some said it would burn and some said it would get extinguished. since we can't try it of course, we just wanted to know who is right. and would it make a difference if it was a drop or a cup full?
