Any suggestions for a personable xmas gift for my boyfriend?

Been with my boyfriend for a year and he is late 30's . We have a apt together as well. I suggested that we go in half on a little larger TV for our place but he said since it is really our first christmas together(we just got together around this time last yr and wasn't living together, we Just moved in last month), he wants to do something more personable. Last year I got him a North face denali which he wears allthe time and he bought me a cute teddy and wrote a poem and gave me some nice perfume. This year I am stressed out because I am not that creative. He has mentioned to me over the summer that he would like to get eventually a Black denali however then I was thinking getting him the next level up from a denali that is the wind pro however is this stupid and how personable is that ..another coat?? Have any other suggestions for gifts?Hes a pretty simple guy, no hobbies, ect.He never wants anything and when I try to subtle ask him , he comes back with a smart answer..like all I want is you....(hes a schmoozer..lol)
