Need info on teaching my dog not to pee in her kennel?

I recently moved her kennel from the living room into the laundry room, and since then she's been peeing in it. I'm not sure when she does it, but lately she's been peeing and I take her out and her whole underbelly is sticky and she stinks of pee. Also, the kennel is sticky but there is no standing pee in it. She hates her kennel, and it has never been a "safe place" for her. I have to kennel her when I leave or she is destructive. She doesn not eat treats if I give them to her, she saves them until I come home from work then she'll eat it. But since she's been peeing, I haven't given her any treats. I read that if you keep an empty food bowl in there they wont do it because they dont want to mess where they eat. And come to think of it, she started peeing when I stopped giving treats since she doesn't eat them anyway.
